Completed Projects. Over the last 20 years VJK Ltd. have completed hundreds of projects all over Ireland. From initial consultation to published findings, our work has been exemplary. Some highlights over the years include: N6 Galway-Ballinasloe Scheme Galway County Council – Investigation, resolution and publication of a number of sites on Contract 1 of this project. Mullingar Town Centre Development Bennett Construction – investigation and resolution of medieval and post-medieval structural remains in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. M7 Heath-Mayfield Kildare County Council – investigation and resolution of a number of high-status sites in Co’s Laois and Kildare. Kildare Water Strategy Halcrow Barry – assessment of proposed pipeline routes and investigation and resolution of various sites in Co. Kildare. N9N10 Kilcullen to Waterford Kilkenny County Council – writing and compilation of cultural heritage chapters for the EIS and giving of evidence at public enquiry. Ladywell Street Thomastown Office of Public Works – Assessment and investigation of the proposed location of decentralised government offices. Lakelands Development Talebury Holdings – resolution of medieval town defences in Drogheda, Co. Louth. Level Crossing Upgrades Iarnrod Eireann/Roughan O’Donovan – Assessment, investigation and resolution of the impact of level crossing upgrades on sites throughout the country. Mallin Street Library National Building Agency/Wexford County Council – Assessment, investigation and resolution of medieval building remains on this urban site in Wexford Town. With the support of our clients Valerie J. Keeley Ltd makes every effort to inform the local community at school and adult level of all points of interest. We also share and explain our findings at the completion of the work. By dissemination of our results to the public through publication we thereby ensure our statutory duties are fulfilled.
